Welcome to the Apex Center
The Apex Center is run by CTLT and its main
purpose is to meet the educational and academic needs of students at Murray
State University. The Apex Center is located in the Hart
Hall Computer Lab.
Software
In addition to the standard software package, the Apex Center offers the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium software for student use, which includes:
- Acrobat 8.0 Professional
- Contribute
- Dreamweaver
- Fireworks
- Flash
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
Hours of Operation
Apex Staff Hours
The Apex Center staff is available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00pm-10:00pm during the Fall and Spring semesters.
One-on-One Help
The Apex staff is available to offer you one-on-one help during our staff hours. We'll do our best to help you, whether it's a question about Microsoft Word, designing a webpage, or putting together an online photo album.
Workshops
Each week we have workshops which anyone can attend for free! These workshops cover various programs and topics such as editing digital photos to making your own webpage. Please contact the Apex Center at 809-6957 or apex@murraystate.edu to request a specific topic.
Some workshops that we have previously done will be on this site under Workshops. Here you can find video tutorials of what we did at that workshop with voice narration to help guide you along. If you missed the workshop or just need a refresher, take a look at the tutorials.
