Homework:
First practice with your tape and module 4 course pack. Then do the following:
 
  • Question 1- Do you know the key phrases? 

    • Module 4, Step 5 of  Dialogues 1-2-3.
    • Can you say you lost something on the plane? Can you describe the item? (check adjectives and colors...)
    • Can you complain ? (on the phone too?)
    Use your business card, here are a few role-plays to practice with. We will do them in class.
    Module 4, pages 38-40: Role-plays 1, 2, 2b, 3.

     Question 2: Lisez les documents  pp. 41-44 

    • Try to understand the words underlined (les mots soulignés).
     Question 3:
     - Culture...restaurants...food and wine
    • Pouvez-vous commander dans un restaurant?
      Use your business card, practice Role-play 4, p. 40 . 
             Dossier mod 4:  food items 

     - Connaissez-vous des vins français?

    • Do you know the French wines regions? 
    • What is a "Vin du Pays"? Can you read a label?
    • Do you know which wine suits your personality?
      Find out:  pages 44-51: All about wines. 
    Check the words underlined (les mots soulignés).
          and answer the above questions.

     Question 4: Letter.

    • Write a letter in response to your partner's letter request.(follow up to Module 3): 
    Présentez votre entreprise. 
          see .role-play "présenter son entreprise" : in letter format, 
             -use your own letter-head
             -use model letter in module 3,
            -use simple sentences, 
            -use your key phrases to minimize incorrect language.
            -check grammar

    Note: Grammaire
    Module 4, dossier on adjectives and pronouns 
         and asking questions.

    • A: Is this your coat?
    • B: No, this is not mine(ce n'est pas le mien)
    • it is that-one  ! (c'est celui-là!)
