DESCRIPTION:

This course is an inquiry into current issues in the field of energy. Students will learn the scientific advantages and technical limitations of conventional and alternative energy sources. They will apply this knowledge by engaging in discussions concerning global environmental, climate, economic, and political implications of energy use. Students will also critically examine their own use of energy.

 

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Participation/ Homework(75% of grade)
  2. Student presentation/poster   (25% of grade)
