ME 311: Engineering Experimentation II

DESCRIPTION:
A laboratory to instruct thestudent in the performance of basic mechanical engineering componentsandsystems.  Performance of experiments, application of theory and reporting. Introduction to experimentation.  Introduction to error analysis. Lecture two hours; laboratory two hours.  Prereq: ME 310, 321, 325,andengineering standing.
ASSIGNMENTS:
  1. Statistics and Uncertainty Take Home (10% of grade)
  2. Laboratory Performance and Reports (60% of grade)
  3. Experimentation Project Report (25% of grade)
  4. Oral Presentation of Experimentation Project (5% of grade)
