The Meade Basin Rodent Project

This project, supported by the National Geographic Society and the National Science Foundation, is designed to test a series of ecological and evolutionary hypotheses with the creation of a dense rodent species database through the late Cenozoic in southwestern Kansas. The project is directed by Robert A. Martin (Murray State U.) and co-P.I.s James G. Honey (U. Colorado, Boulder), Pablo Pelaez-Campomanes (National Museum of Natural History, Spain) and David Fox (U. Minnesota). Contributors include Everett Lindsay (U. Arizona, emeritus), L. Barry Albright (U. North Florida) and Richard Zakrzewski (Fort Hayes State U.).
