Description:
An interdisciplinary study of the ways in which cultures shape and are shaped by peace and war.  The purpose of this course is to introduce students to a variety of conflicts, approaches to resolving conflicts, and definitions of peace through the study of literature, art, history, philosophy, popular culture, sociology and journalism.
