My Photographic work is conceptually based. It focuses primarily on body image issues. Generally my work is a reflection of my own perception of my body, and the strives I have made to overcome the limitations, stereotypes and self esteem issues placed on me by peers, family, society and mostly by myself.

Over the span of my life, I have been told that thin is beautiful, no exceptions. However I have learned that beauty is beautiful no matter the size.My lighting is harsh and intensive because I want the viewer to see every flaw that together makes the whole beautiful.
The graphic sexual nature of these photographs speaks of stereotypes, in media, of only accepting thin women as sexual beings, and larger women as pigs.

My images also speak against societies view of what is acceptable by adding a sensual element to what would normally be uncouth.

My influences include David LaChapelle, Robert
Mapplethorpe, Cindy Sherman, Ralph Gibson, Sally Mann, Shirin Neshat, and Peter Paul Reubens.
