It seems to me that many artists are creating self serving art, dealing with depressing and topical events of the world around themselves. Very few are actually having fun in their given trade. All of my work has focused on things that I have loved or have been fascinated with. No deep meaning just fun.

Whenever I create anything I believe that this idea should be the main focus of my work. Creators like Mike Mignola and Paul Pope are creating this ideal with all their sequential artwork. Be it Mignola’s reluctant antichrist to Pope’s runaway girl lost on the Mars landscape, you as the viewer know that they are enjoying every step of creating these worlds of stark landscapes and insurmountable odds.

My work, be it sculptural or sequential, is all about enjoying what I produce. Like the artist above, I work toward bring pieces of imagination to life. Be it dark and foreboding to light and whimsical, breathing life into amazing new worlds is always fun.
