Murray State University School
of Agriculture Web Course
Welcome to Murray State University School of Agriculture's
web course in Advanced Computers. The course is designed to allow
you as a student to advance both your skills and knowledge of computers
as they relate to the world of agriculture. The
course is designated as an "online course" and
the majority (95%) of it can be completed via electronic mode. However,
there will be two examination periods in which you will have to return
to campus. These two dates/times will be given in advance so that
you may adequately plan your schedule. The typical meeting times
for these two times will be on Monday's from 3-5, so please do not schedule
another course on top of this time and date.
We hope the course meets your needs and that you
complete it successfully. As the course is a graduate level course,
which is also open to those of junior/senior standing as well, you will
find it can be both challenging at times and a review at times. Should
you at anytime have any questions or concerns you may contact me via email,
telephone, fax, or by stopping by the office. One of the best practices
to do while taking the course is to make good backup copies of all electronic
data, as well as to complete assignments on time. Please take a few
moments to read through the Syllabus and Course Requirements link on the
main page and also to browse through the other links listed. Good
luck!
