Three-Toed Amphiuma

18"-42", can be distinguished by eel like body with four tiny limbs, each with three toes.  Dark brown above, light gray belly.  Lives in marshes, swamps, lakes, and sometimes in streams.  Occasionally they leave the water during rainstorms, traveling short distances.
