| Unlobed linear leaves with bristel tip, about 1/2" wide, tend to be persistant. Very small acorn. Medium-dark bark, tight, shallow ridges and fissures. Wet site oak, part of "green tree reservoirs" planted so waterfowl can have food. Also planted as an ornamental. Fagaceae. |
