| 90'-180' in height, and 2.5' in diameter, with a narrow, symmetrical crown and slender, drooping branches. Leaves are in bundles of five, 2'-4' long, slender, twisted, and blue-green, margins with minute teeth. Cones are long (4"-8"), slender, with thin scales. Bark is thin, smooth, and light gray on young individuals: in 1.5" thick square or rectangular dark gray plates in mature trees. Does best on moist, porous soils. |
