Warmouth

Rarely over 10” long.  Dark olive to gray, brownish sides and yellow markings.  Anal fin with 3 spines (compared to 5 or 6 for rockbass).  5 dark lines radiate from snout and eye.  Larger mouth than most sunfish species.
