It took a little while, but here is a wrap-up of our pages. The course is finished, the grades are in!
You can see all the scores and solutions on the "scores and docs" page. Keep in mind final exam score average is significantly lower, because the best students don't take the final. There were many failing overall grades, vast majority due to nonattendance of class.
Thanks to all the students who regularly participated in class activities - you made my job easier!
Have a good rest of the break!
The final exam will take place on Monday at 1:30 in our usual classrooms. It will be comprehensive and will consist of problems like you have already seen on the 4 exams. Therefore, start preparing for the final by making sure you can do all the problems on the exams we have had so far. Check out the sample final exam as well. For even more practice, work on the joysheets. Note that all exams and joysheets are available blank on the "scores and docs" page.
If you need to see me, schedule for office hours next week is as follows:
Monday, 10:00-1:30; Tuesday, 10:00-12:00 and 2:30-4:00; Wednesday, 9:00-10:30
Good luck on finals!
Exam 4, covering sections 5.1-5.6, is scheduled for Friday. Check out sample exam 4 in the usual place. By Saturday noon following the exam I will have your course grades, so you can decide whether to take the final exam.
On Monday, we will discuss homework from sections 5.2 and 5.3 (they are due on MyMathLab on Tuesday.)
Have a good Thanksgiving holiday!

The solutions to the in-class Joysheet 1, similar to Joysheet 1, can also be found on the "scores and docs" page - it may help you with the take-home Joysheet 1.
Have a good long weekend!
If you haven't already, please sign up for MyMathLab - it is needed for online homework. See instructions on the "mymathlab" page.
On Monday, we will discuss homework in section 1.1, and start discussing homework in sections JIT 17, 6, 7 and 14. You can find the list of homework problems on the "homework" sheet, accessible from the "scores and docs" page.

Welcome to the course! Look around to familiarize yourself with the layout of these webpages. To get to other pages, click on "choose..." and select the page: the most often-used pages are near the top of the menu. All documents (homework assignment, solutions to exams, etc.) can be found at the "scores and docs" page. Links to often-used documents (homework, joysheets) are at the bottom of the list.
Since you are already here, now may be a good moment to sign up for the online homework system MyMathLab. See the instructions on the "mymathlab" page which explain how to access it through Canvas.
Note: By default when you registered for this course, you are in the Inclusive Access program, which provides access to MyMathLab and online textbook for $103.75 for two years. MyMathLab is necessary to take part in this course, so Inclusive Access is probably the most economical way to take care of that requirement and have access to the textbook. If you need a paper textbook, you can purchase it separately.
These pages will get more content as information becomes available. Check back often: useful information is provided in the "home" section (which you are reading), typically updated weekly.
