The course is over and the grades are in! You can see all the statistics on the "scores and docs" page including the distribution of the final grades. All the solutions to our exams there, too.

I greatly enjoyed teaching this course - special thanks to students, and there were a good number of you who participated in class discussion - you always make my job easier and more enjoyable!

Have a wonderful break!

Exam 5 and the final exam will be given on Thursday at 1:30PM in our usual classroom. For exam 5 information, see message below. The final will cover everything we did this semester and will have 4 pages with questions similar to the ones on our five exams. Thus, the best first step in studying for the final is to make sure you can do all the problems on the exams we had so far. If you find you have trouble with some questions, you can review the corresponding section. Recall that the final exam grade replaces your two weakest exam grades only if it is better. You don't have to take the final exam if you feel confident in your score on exam 5, but it probably wouldn't hurt, just in case.

If you need to see me, here are my office hours for finals week:

Monday 10:00-3:00, Tuesday 11:00-2:00, Wednesday 10:00-3:00, Thursday 10:00-1:30

Good luck on finals!

Welcome to the course!  Look around to familiarize yourself with the layout of these webpages.  Note that the most important links at right are highlighted.  All documents (homework assignment, solutions to exams, etc.) can be found at the "scores and documents" page. Links to often-used documents also appear in the menu bar at right.

These pages will get more content as information becomes available.  Check back often: useful information is provided in the "home" section (which you are reading), typically updated weekly.  Homework assignments will be updated when we start a new chapter.
