Lauren (Before):

My name is Lauren, I am 17 and I’m just ending my junior year at Shorewood High School. I’ve lived here all my life, but I know I’m destined to travel the world. I’m very interested in politics and biology. I also love writing. I can rarely finish anything I write, though, so I have about fifteen unfinished short stories that I’m sure I’ll never get back to. I’m a pretty wacky girl – and I’m not one to be timid upon meeting new people. I have the best friends in the world and a really amazing and supportive family. I love reading about new things and I love enjoying life’s simple pleasures! I’m always singing, but just ignore me.

I’m currently enrolled in Running Start and taking some classes at my local community college. I want to go to Evergreen State College after high school and major in Biology or Environmental Science. I’m so grateful to be a part of this team and I know it will be the experience of a lifetime. What a way to start out the summer, huh? I can’t wait to get to know you all!
