Laura (Before):

My name is Laura and I am 16 and live in Vermont. My hometown is a small rural town with a population of only 1200 people. I am currently a sophomore at a small k-12 school. There are only 27 kids in my grade and 250 in the entire school so class choices are very limited, but the upside to the small size is that I know everyone in school. Also there are no tryouts for the sports teams so anyone who wants to play can.

When I am not in school I like to do a lot of different things like during the winter I like to downhill ski. I have skied all over Vermont and recently spent two weeks in Utah skiing there. This spring I will play lacrosse and will turkey hunt. During the summer I like to fish and I also spend two to three weeks volunteering at a local summer camp that the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife sponsors. In the fall I play soccer and deer and turkey hunt. My parents own a small general store so I spend a lot of time there as well as at my job at the local Riding School.
