Ashley (Before)

Hi, my name is Ashley, and I live in Upstate New York, originally from New Jersey. I’m a 16-year-old high school junior at Millbrook School in NY. I applied to Earthwatch because it sounded like a great opportunity and I love the outdoors…but I have to say, that’s the extent of my scientific knowledge. My primary interest is in music; I’m a singer/songwriter/musician, playing guitar and piano. Although I can’t bring the piano, I will bring my guitar down to the Caribbean, providing I can get it through carry on (I have only traveled twice, and I’ve had to put up 2 fights to get permission it carry it on). The music I write is folk-acoustic/pop-rock, but I listen to and play all different kinds of music (for example, I’m in a Rush and Beatles tribute band at Present).
