Course Description
This course addresses selected computer/technology applications in marketing.  Concepts and techniques

Learning Objectives

After completing MKT 475, students will be able to . . .
1. Define basic Internet marketing and e-commerce concepts and terminology
2. Recognize Internet and other technology applications in marketing
3. Recognize and identify e-commerce and e-business models
4. Apply web design techniques in addressing elements of the marketing mix

Participation and Attendance
Activities will consist of guiding announcements, lab exercises, discussion boards, and quizzes.  Performance of all activities and discussion of the attendant issues and information raised by these activities represents an integral part of the learning process.

Grading
Quizzes for chapter content, lab exercises, and the e-storefront web site development project will form the material for grading determination.

Grades are determined by total points as follows:
Chapter Quizzes 100     A = 360 points (90%)
E-Store Project  200     B = 320-359
Lab Exercises/   100     C = 280-319
Participation       -----     D = 240-279
                                   F = fewer than 240 points
            Total     400 points
 

Exercises
Students will participate in several exercises pertaining to various course topics.  I will provide details, including a due date, preceding each exercise.
