UPS Shipment Tracking Utility This utility allows your customers to track shipments from your warehouse to their door by entering the UPS Tracking Number. UPS provides you with this number when you consign products to them for shipment. You, in turn, may send it to your customers in an email message which also includes the URL to the page where you have placed this utility. This initiates at least one more contact with you after shipment, provides customers valuable information, and establishes in their minds your concern for their satisfaction. It is provided by UPS to shippers free of charge to encourage them to use their services for eBusiness transactions. A sample tracking number is included to illustrate the application. You may delete it when you have tested the utility within your page. To use this utility, simply cut and past the complete table into your transaction. You may make whatever formatting changes you desire. Note that by editing the HTML for the utility, you may also customize the resulting tracking report with your firm's name, company logo and footer. |
