Summer Component
Our primary goal is to recruit 50 high school students to participate in
Summer and Academic year components.
Each Summer 50 students recruited from out of Western Kentucky, Southern
Illinois, Northwestern Tennessee or Eastern Missouri participate in a 6 week
residential program on the campus of Murray State University, at no cost to the
participant, other than transportation to the campus. Students will be
divided into research teams led by a professor and /or graduate student.
Students are enrolled in classes during the day and will participate in nightly activities. Parents and guest are invited to an end
of the summer banquet/math and science symposium
